Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, the Human Resources Advisor is a senior HR professional who collaborates with leaders and employees to provide responsive, client-focused HR services. This role supports departmental plans and organizational objectives by offering expert generalist advice and support across various HR functions. As a trusted advisor, this position provides consultation on recruitment and selection, employee and labor relations, disability and attendance management, performance management, coaching, workforce data and analytics, policy development, organizational change, conflict resolution, employee development, workplace investigations, job evaluation, compensation, organizational design, position management, employment documentation, and other people-related matters. The Human Resources Advisor delivers informed, practical guidance based on best practices, applicable legislation, and County policies and procedures, ensuring timely and coordinated responses that support operational needs and a positive workplace culture. This backfill position will be responsible for the Abilities Management portfolio in addition to department partnerships.
