As an HR Admin, you will be the heartbeat behind our organization, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development and well-being. You’ll collaborate with leaders and employees to cultivate a dynamic and supportive environment where everyone can bring their best selves to work.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of HR administrative experience
  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a unionized and/or federally regulated workplace is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with BambooHR or other HR systems is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Help create a workplace where employees feel welcomed, supported, and valued.
  • Coordinate employee events, celebrations, prize draws, birthdays, anniversaries, and shoutouts.
  • Organize holiday parties, staff lunches, employee engagement activities, and internal communications.
  • Help bring our company values to life every day.
  • Support the full recruitment process from posting jobs to onboarding new hires.
  • Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, and support onboarding.
  • Help make a great first impression for every new employee who joins the team.
  • Maintain organized employee files and HR documentation like the organizational superhero you are.
  • Scan, file, upload, track, and manage important HR records.
  • Keep HR systems updated and accurate.
  • Data entry and document organization.
  • Help ensure everything is where it should be — because chaos is not your vibe.
  • Respond to employee questions and provide day-to-day HR support.
  • Prepare employment verification letters and other HR documents.
  • Assist employees with HR systems and onboarding tools.
  • Support managers with policies, procedures, and HR processes.
  • Support HR projects and company initiatives.
  • Assist with surveys, employee feedback, and engagement programs.
  • Update internal websites, forms, newsletters, and training records.
  • Jump in wherever needed because no two days in HR are ever the same.
