About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of related Human Resources experience, with exposure to multiple HR disciplines such as recruitment and staffing, compensation, employee relations, training and development, HRIS administration, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships with employees, managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and follow through on responsibilities with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee and organizational information with professionalism, discretion, and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service orientation, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to employee and manager questions and identify when matters require escalation.
  • Ability to understand and support HR-related budgets, track expenditures, maintain accurate records, and develop and monitor HR metrics and reporting.
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and effectively utilize HRIS, applicant tracking, performance management, and other HR technology systems.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment-related compliance requirements, with the ability to consistently apply established organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally while also independently managing assigned HR projects, processes, and day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Commitment to GSEP’s mission and Operational Core Values, with the ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive, and employee-focused workplace culture.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of current automobile insurance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports GSEP’s in attracting, engaging, developing, recognizing, and retaining a strong workforce.
  • Manages key components of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, recognition, performance management administration, manager support, retention initiatives, and offboarding.
  • Helps create a positive and consistent employee experience while strengthening GSEP’s culture and connection to its mission.
  • Supports the employee experience from recruitment through offboarding, helping GSEP attract, engage, develop, recognize, and retain a strong workforce.
  • Manages recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Coordinates employee engagement and performance management processes.
  • Supports manager and leadership development initiatives.
  • Oversees employee recognition programs.
  • Tracks workforce, retention, and employee experience data.
  • Maintains key organizational information and records.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen HR processes, workplace culture, and the overall employee experience.
