About The Position

Daniels Talent Solutions is seeking a contract Human Resource Recruiter to manage key phases of their recruitment efforts. This role involves identifying, interviewing, and evaluating candidates, as well as liaising with clients to understand their staffing needs and executing plans to find qualified candidates. The recruiter will work with the DTS team to develop and implement recruitment strategies, source candidates, and manage the candidate pipeline. A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential, with the ability to incorporate DEI principles into recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, proactive problem-solver, team player, and possess strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in human resources practices and principles or 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources Management and Talent Management roles.
  • Previous consulting experience required.
  • Deep understanding of the nonprofit and education landscape and its unique staffing needs.
  • Experience hiring and working with senior leadership teams (i.e. C-Suite, CEO, Board of Directors, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, and resume databases.
  • Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to incorporate DEI principles into recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Design and update job descriptions in alignment with client requirements.
  • Provide thought partnership on the development of the recruitment strategy and multi-channel approach.
  • Execute the recruitment strategy (i.e. advertise job openings on job board pages, social media, LinkedIn, etc.) in collaboration with DTS team members.
  • Help source potential candidates from various recruitment channels.
  • Own candidate management by crafting recruiting emails, responding to candidate concerns, conducting outreach to ensure a warm pipeline, and engaging and managing candidates.
  • Screen and interview candidates to identify top talent for various roles within client organizations.
  • Utilize anti-bias hiring practices to develop hiring tools for scoring and rating candidates and provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Perform additional recruitment duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $55-65 per hour for up to 20 hours per week.
  • Compensation includes any key travel reimbursements for any foreseeable client travel.
