This role is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. The manager will execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives, research and address employment-related concerns, and ensure compliance with company HR policies. Key responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in the implementation and ensuring compliance with HR systems and applications, and gathering data for HR-related issues. The position also involves maintaining quality and safety standards, identifying associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and implementing corrective actions. A significant part of the role includes supervising and developing associates and leaders, managing and coordinating training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates, and ensuring compliance with all job-required trainings and assessments. The manager will also build relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, identify and address improvement opportunities, and promote continuous learning.
