This role is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. The manager will implement the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training. They will also ensure compliance with company HR policies, maintain HR documents, and assist in the implementation and compliance of HR systems. The position involves identifying and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns, supervising and developing associates and leaders, and managing and coordinating training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates. The role emphasizes building relationships with stakeholders, supporting initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning. A key aspect is fostering a culture of belonging, attracting and retaining talent, and empowering associates.
