About The Position

Plans, administers, coordinates, and monitors the Human Resource functions for assigned Corps; prepares and maintains personnel records for all Corps/ Command employees; enforces and advises staff and Officers on the human resources policies and procedures reviews and audits paperwork, enters background checks, and E-verifys in Sterling as needed; ensures compliance with personnel rules and regulations and maintains the confidential nature of the position; serves as a liaison between assigned Corps and Area Command regarding personnel functions and policy. Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field, with a bachelor’s degree in the same preferred, or a Human Resources Certification and Two years experience working in the human resources field, or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, personal computer and related office equipment.
  • Ability to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Ability to travel when needed to accomplish assigned job duties.
  • Valid State Drivers License
