Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
  • Must have the ability to make presentations to large groups.
  • Must have ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all employee relations activities, including but not limited to: Conflict resolution, follow-up on employee concerns/suggestions, communications, policy interpretation, etc.
  • Assists Supervisors with employee issues, etc.
  • Assist Employees with employment related paperwork (benefits, tax forms, payroll, etc.).
  • Coordinates Recall, Lateral and Job Posting processes.
  • Issues ID badges and Forklift authorizations.
  • Performs employment verifications and background
  • Maintains employee communication boards throughout the plant
  • Efficiently, effectively and accurately enters employee information into required databases.
  • Helps develop, implement, and monitor employee-related policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates Human Resources projects as assigned by the Human Resources Supervisor or Manager.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all employee related matters and information.
  • Participates in task forces, committees, teams, etc.
  • Participates in new hire orientations.
  • Contributes to a healthy, positive and safe environment.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Participates in department and plant wide employee meetings.
  • Completes documentation of activities as required.
  • Submits cost reduction and Innovation ideas.
  • Maintain and/or enhance the management/employee relationship.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
