About The Position

This position is responsible for planning, administering, coordinating, and monitoring Human Resource functions for assigned Corps. Key duties include preparing and maintaining personnel records for all Corps/Command employees, enforcing and advising staff and Officers on human resources policies and procedures, reviewing and auditing paperwork, and conducting background checks and E-verify processes using Sterling. The role ensures compliance with personnel rules and regulations, maintains the confidential nature of the position, and serves as a liaison between assigned Corps and Area Command regarding personnel functions and policy.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field, or a Human Resources Certification
  • Two years experience working in the human resources field, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements
  • Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, personal computer and related office equipment
  • Ability to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism
  • Ability to travel when needed to accomplish assigned job duties
  • Valid State Driver's License
