About The Position

Associa, an industry leader in community association management, is seeking a talented Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone serious about growing their career. The Human Resources Generalist will assist managers with human resources decisions, including maintaining employee relationships and hiring new talent. They will also help upper management develop strategies for hiring quality personnel, administer general HR duties such as payroll, benefits, and training, and review and suggest changes to company policies and practices. The generalist will also be responsible for deploying new HR policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers' compensation claims, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of current governmental compliance regulations and laws.
  • Knowledge in multi-state laws, including state specific laws.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Guide managers in recruiting and employee relations.
  • Submit job req requests and recruit for open positions.
  • Send welcome email for new hires and follow-up on benefit enrollment.
  • Assist in facilitating the PPR Process.
  • Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs.
  • Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
  • Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations.
  • Order business cards, name plates & nametags.
  • Update ADP timecards as needed & submit payroll.
  • Track staff designations & Update CAM Spreadsheet.
  • Other duties as assigned.
