About The Position

The HR Generalist I will work with HR management and Operations management to provide mobility, Immigration and Site-specific HR support (US assigned locations only) to enable successful operations across US corporate and Global Manufacturing sites. Provides day-to-day Mobility and Immigration support by serving as the primary point of contact for associates across Company Operational Jurisdictions. This position also has responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Proven employee relations experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, ADP, and Kronos is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, major in human resources or business is preferred.
  • A PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global associates regarding immigration and visa-related inquiries.
  • Act as the first point of HR contact for assigned business sites.
  • Support HR leadership with internal reviews, audits, and assessments of immigration data, processes, and policies.
  • Collect, consolidate, analyze, and report HR and global immigration data and metrics.
  • Coordinate with immigration/tax vendors on data/documentation check to support work authorization and tax support activities.
  • Maintain and manage confidential personnel and immigration records in electronic systems.
  • Contribute to team objectives and support the achievement of departmental and individual goals.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and immigration-related laws and regulations.
  • Analyze workforce and immigration data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
