About The Position

The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on recruiting and talent acquisition. This position partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source and attract qualified candidates, coordinate the hiring process, and create a positive candidate and new-hire experience. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, this role provides administrative support across Human Resources, including onboarding, HRIS maintenance, employee documentation, reporting, benefits administration support, compliance, and other HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years of recruiting, HR coordination, or HR generalist experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
  • Experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems; Paycor experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of general employment practices and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, candidates, managers, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong follow-through and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting for assigned positions from requisition through accepted offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and candidate profiles.
  • Create and maintain job postings across the company's applicant tracking system and appropriate recruiting platforms.
  • Source candidates using job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting strategies.
  • Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Assist hiring managers with candidate evaluation and selection.
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre-employment requirements, as applicable.
  • Prepare and coordinate offer letters and other pre-employment documentation.
  • Ensure recruiting activities and documentation are maintained accurately within the applicant tracking system.
  • Maintain an active candidate pipeline for frequently hired and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Support recruiting efforts across multiple locations and business units.
  • Track recruiting metrics, including open positions, time-to-fill, candidate activity, hiring.
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding activities and ensure required documentation is completed timely and accurately.
  • Assist employees and managers with completion of onboarding tasks within the HRIS.
  • Support Form I-9 and employment eligibility verification processes in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel documentation.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding routine HR questions, policies, procedures, and HR systems.
  • Prepare routine HR reports, employee lists, organizational information, and other HR data as requested.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including employee questions, enrollment support, qualifying life events, and documentation.
  • Prepare employment verification documentation and other routine employee correspondence.
  • Assist with maintaining personnel files and required HR records.
  • Support annual HR processes such as open enrollment, performance reviews, compensation changes, policy acknowledgments, and required employee communications.
  • Assist with audits and compliance-related requests by gathering and organizing required employee documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive business matters at all times.
  • Assist with HR initiatives, employee communications, training coordination, and special projects.
  • Support HR activities related to acquisitions, integrations, and employee transitions as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and administrative processes.
  • Partner with members of the HR team to ensure consistent HR practices across locations and business units.
  • Provide backup administrative support to other members of the HR team as needed.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.
