About The Position

As a Human Resources Clerk at Sam’s Club Supply Chain, you will play an essential role in supporting our associates and leadership teams to ensure smooth HR operations within our facility. You’ll handle administrative tasks with accuracy and confidentiality, assist with hiring and onboarding, and help maintain compliance with company policies. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our associates.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience in Walmart Logistics clerical related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) using computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing) OR 1 year's experience in clerical related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) using computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing) OR 1 year's coursework in Human Resource related field (for example, Business Management, Human Resources) AND 1 year's experience in computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing) OR 1 year's experience in human resource activities (for example, payroll, benefits, workers compensation, FMLA, OSHA) AND 1 year's experience in computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing)

Responsibilities

  • Supports daily HR functions by processing paperwork, maintaining personnel files, and assisting with data entry in HR systems.
  • Coordinates hiring processes by scheduling interviews, managing new hire onboarding, and facilitating orientation sessions for associates.
  • Responds to associate questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assists with payroll functions including timekeeping records, resolving missing punches, updating direct deposit information, and addressing payroll escalations.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and professionalism.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • The hourly wage range for this position is $24.20 - $27.70
  • The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
