As we continue to expand operations across multiple states, we are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Department.

Requirements

Accuracy, Attention to Detail, & Action Oriented, ability to appropriately prioritize.
Associate’s degree and/or two years’ experience working in an HR Department.
Experience using Microsoft Suite software as well as various HR Information Systems.
Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Ability to prioritize day-to-day situations and escalate as needed
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource electronic records, and spreadsheets.
Produces accurate data-based reports and research.
Performs periodic audits of HRIS, Worker’s Compensation and payroll records.
Answers routine questions regarding benefits, hiring, training, HRIS, worker’s compensation, etc.;
Refers more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management.
Maintains confidentiality.
Communicates effectively.
Provides clerical support to the HR Director, helps facility HR leaders resolve Paylocity, worker’s compensation and benefits questions/issues.
Assist the NHSC President, the Accounting/Finance Department and the Sales Department as needed.
Assists with planning and execution of staff events, meetings, parties, etc..
Performs other duties as assigned.
Conduct research on HR best practices, industry trends and state law changes.
