About The Position

The Pennsylvania Treasury Department is looking for a creative and motivated HR Analyst I to join their dedicated Training & Development team within the Bureau of Human Resources. This role supports department training and performance by creating clear learning materials and guiding helpful training sessions. The Pennsylvania Treasury Department is an independent agency led by the elected State Treasurer and one of the largest state treasuries in the country, serving as custodian of more than $150 billion. Treasury plays a critical role in state government operations, acting as the custodian, investor, and disburser of funds for nearly all state agencies. Treasury also offers a wide range of programs and services to Pennsylvania families, including the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program; the PA ABLE Savings Program for people with disabilities; and their work to return more than $4 billion of Unclaimed Property to its rightful owners.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Experience creating courses using Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Forms, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook, web-based utilities or the ability to learn relevant software to perform job duties.
  • Must attach a resume.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience conducting training for delivering in-person or virtual sessions
  • Experience using Canva
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or other design software
  • Full-time professional experience in instructional development
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools or technologies in a professional capacity to design, develop, or deliver training courses and learning materials

Responsibilities

  • Design accessible learning resources using various digital tools
  • Lead in-person and virtual training sessions on leadership, communication, customer service, and operational topics
  • Produce materials that help employees apply new skills
  • Maintain and update SharePoint and eLearning training platforms
  • Provide guidance by creating resources that meet department learning needs
