The Human Capital Consultant supports client training and human capital initiatives by evaluating training needs, preparing structured content inputs, supporting the development and review of training deliverables, and assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT). The role collaborates with instructional designers, training developers, and client stakeholders by providing subject-matter content, business context, and quality reviews. Success requires strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment. The consultant conducts training needs analyses, evaluates existing materials, develops content outlines, and identifies opportunities to improve training effectiveness. They prepare examples, data, workflows, and narrative materials; develop standards and templates; validate requirements with internal teams and client stakeholders; and review draft training products for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client needs. Content support may span instructor-led training (ILT), computer-based training (CBT), job aids, and reference guides. The role also supports UAT by developing test scripts and scenarios based on mission workflows and user requirements, coordinating with IT teams to capture findings and support bug resolution, and confirming deployment readiness. The consultant works with client teams and external stakeholders to understand business problems, gather requirements, refine content, and support delivery activities. They are expected to work independently and deliver high-quality client work with accountability.
