About The Position

The Hub Helper works in the Distribution department at a warehouse/distribution center. The role loads and unloads parts, organizes and manages inventory, and helps maintain a clean, safe, space-efficient work area. The employee works closely under the direction of the Night Cross Dock Driver and completes tasks assigned by the General Manager and Operations Manager. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience is beneficial but not required; training and equipment are provided.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to solve complex issues relating to stocking, organization, and space management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; lifting devices or assistance are required for heavier merchandise.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, and talk or hear regularly; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Automotive Recycling Association's (ARA) part system.
• Previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts delivered to the distribution center.
• Work closely under the direction of the Night Cross Dock Driver.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently, such as a pallet jack.
• Manage inventory by placing items in an organized manner.
• Move vehicles and merchandise without damaging vehicles, merchandise, people, or property.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete tasks assigned by the General Manager and Operations Manager quickly and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
