About The Position
Under minimal supervision, the HTM Tech III provides expert-level repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. The role requires proficiency in CMMS equipment data reporting and management. The position is described as a highly skilled biomedical equipment role requiring four years of experience and CBET or CHTM certification.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology, or military training in biomedical equipment service.
- Four years of experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration.
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification from the International Certification Commission. If not certified at the time of hire, certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
Responsibilities
- Repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment.
- Manage and report equipment data in a CMMS.
