Requirements
- Completion of NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching”
- Completion of NFHS “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches”
- School Level AD should keep concussion Certificate- Copy on file every year.
- School Level AD should keep Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate- Copy on file every year.
- Completion of “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course
- Completion of the NFHS COVID-19 Course
Responsibilities
- Complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position (unless ASEP Coaches Education Course was completed prior to May 15, 2013).
- Keep a copy of the concussion certificate on file every year.
- Keep a copy of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate on file every year.
- When applicable, keep a copy of the completion of "Fundamentals of Coaching" on file.
- When applicable, keep a copy of the completion of "First Aid, Health, & Safety" on file.
- Complete the NFHS “Heat Illness Prevention” course and keep a copy on file every year.
- Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
