About The Position

The HRIS Strategic Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate and efficient HR data management. This role involves analyzing HR data, generating reports, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with HR and IT teams to optimize HRIS functionality. The HRIS Analyst supports HR processes such as payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, and compliance by ensuring the HRIS meets organizational needs and enhances data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, including data structures, workflows, security models, and system configuration principles.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM, including navigation, reporting tools, configuration options, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Knowledge of core HR functional areas, such as payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and compliance, and how they integrate with HRIS workflows.
  • Knowledge of HR data governance, data integrity standards, and regulatory requirements related to employee data.
  • Skill in building, analyzing, and automating HRIS reports, queries, and dashboards.
  • Skill in diagnosing system issues, performing root‑cause analysis, and executing structured system testing (UAT, regression, validation).
  • Skill in identifying and implementing process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and automation opportunities within HR/OE processes.
  • Skill in documenting system configurations, processes, and testing results clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective HRIS solutions, configurations, or enhancements.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive HR data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with OE partners, HR subject‑matter experts, IT, and vendors to support system functionality and long‑term HRIS strategy.
  • Minimum of (3) three years of Oracle HRIS experience.

  • Minimum High School or GED Preferred 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business administration, human resources management, information technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and implements process improvements, system automations, and workflow optimizations to increase Organization Effectiveness (OE) operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across functions.
  • Partners with OE and business leaders to develop and execute a long‑term HRIS strategy that aligns system capabilities with organizational goals, improves user experience, and supports scalable, data‑driven HR operations.
  • Maintains and administers the organization’s HRIS to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data management.
  • Analyzes HR data to identify trends, support decision‑making, and provide actionable insights to OE and business leaders.
  • Develops, generates, and automates standard and ad‑hoc HR reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoots system errors, data issues, and workflow problems; partners with IT and HR teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Configures, tests, and documents HRIS enhancements, system upgrades, and new functionality to support evolving business needs.
  • Collaborates with HR subject‑matter experts in payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and compliance to ensure HRIS processes support accurate and efficient operations.
  • Maintains data integrity through routine audits, validation processes, and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Provides end‑user support and training to OE partners and employees on system functionality and best practices.
  • Manages security roles, permissions, and access controls in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Supports compliance activities by ensuring HR data and reporting align with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.
