About The Position

ERGO NEXT's mission is to help entrepreneurs thrive by building the only technology-led, full-stack provider of small business insurance in the industry. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to help streamline and support People Operations systems and processes. This role will be critical as we scale and integrate with our parent company, ERGO. The ideal candidate will be analytically strong, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with the Information Systems (IS) team to recommend and implement system and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in HRIS or HR systems, preferably supporting operational HR functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; experience with data integrity audits and process documentation.
  • Experience working with technical teams to implement system or process improvements.
  • Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable creating documentation and guidance materials.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, including HR compliance, employee lifecycle management, and reporting best practices.
  • Experience with HR systems (BambooHR, ADP, SAP, or similar).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Success Factors or other major HCM systems.
  • Prior exposure to system change management or implementation projects.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain HR system data integrity through regular audits and validations.
  • Process and manage HR system requests by accurately entering and updating employee data, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Leverage knowledge of HR systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, and partner with IS to implement system and process changes that align with People Operations.
  • Participate in system testing, process reviews, and workflow enhancements to support operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners and other departments to gather business requirements, align system capabilities, and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, configuration guides, and user guides.
  • Provide guidance and support to the People Operations team and other business stakeholders on system usage, process understanding, and data-related questions.
  • Support compliance by ensuring the system and processes meet internal and external audit requirements.
  • Stay informed of HR system best practices and emerging trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that prepare the People Operations function for future system and process enhancements.
