About The Position

The Marmon Group LLC is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytically driven Group HRIS Analyst and Project Manager to support the Electrical Group. This role partners with multiple businesses to provide HRIS support, deliver data insights, and guide and support key HR initiatives within Talent Acquisition (TA) and Learning & Development (LD). The position serves as a key link between Group HR Leaders and Marmon Corporate HR Support Services, ensuring HR programs are executed effectively, HR systems are used consistently, and enterprise standards are maintained. The Group HRIS Analyst is the first point of contact for HRIS support, resolving system questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance to HR teams. This role also provides analytics and dashboards to support decision-making and collaborates with HR leaders on annual programs and group priorities. Additionally, it contributes to enterprise HRIS initiatives, system enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with the group's strategy and vision. The role manages projects across the group to simplify and standardize processes and programs. Requirements

  • 2+ years of related HRIS experience (Workday preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system and data issues
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R) preferred
  • Ability to interpret and apply written, verbal, and technical instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with HR partners, leaders, and system users
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in environments with limited standardization

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or data analytics certification (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Tableau Desktop Specialist)
  • Experience in HR related role in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Group HR Leaders to plan and execute annual HR programs (e.g., Performance Management, Merit & Bonus, Talent Planning), including audits, reporting, tracking, and communications.
  • Ensure HR programs and transactions are accurately executed in MPower in alignment with group and enterprise requirements.
  • Support acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, and other strategic or operational initiatives.
  • Support additional group-specific HR priorities and projects as directed by the Group HR Leader.
  • Collaborate with Business HR leaders to define best practices and implement standard Group-level resources and consistent processes to support Group HR goals.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS questions and system support for assigned groups.
  • Manage “office hours” to maintain consistent education and communication across the group on HRIS related updates, learnings etc.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve HRIS issues; escalate system or process issues as needed.
  • Manage and respond to HRIS tickets, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of customer support.
  • Proactively monitor tickets to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide data insights, dashboards, and reports to support informed decision-making by HR and business leadership.
  • Conduct audits and ensure ongoing data accuracy within MPower.
  • Build HRIS capability across businesses through training sessions, targeted coaching, and ongoing support.
  • Champion system adoption and user proficiency across MPower, HireRight, Perceptyx, and related tools.
  • Reinforce standardized HRIS processes and best practices established by Marmon Corporate HRIS.
  • Participate in system testing for HRIS updates and annual cycles to ensure accuracy and readiness.
  • Contribute to enterprise HRIS projects, including evaluating, implementing, and testing new functionality.
  • Provide day-to-day support for HR systems, including development, maintenance, and ongoing optimization.
  • Support the group HR team (LD, TA, EHS and VPHR) in managing various programs and initiatives that drive simplification and standardization.
  • Continue to support centralization efforts at group by managing projects, timelines, collecting data and education and communicating with leadership.
  • Support the group team in executing offsite events involving HR related activities.
