HR Technician II - (Temporary)
About The Position
This is a temporary position, and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position to work in a temporary position. This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27606- Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree, typically in Human Resources or relevant field from an appropriately accredited institution and 1 year of experience required; or 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with making salary determinations and salary negotiation conversations for in-range adjustments and reallocations
- Conduct job analyses for new position development
- Create permanent and temporary positions with division leadership
- Develop and gather documents for position development, in-range adjustments, and reallocations
- Track progress on position development
