About The Position

Kleinfelder's Corporate Team has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Shared Services Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys providing exceptional customer service, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting key HR processes in a collaborative and stable work environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented HR professional to provide administrative and operational support to our Human Resources department. In this role, you will manage a variety of moderately complex assignments, including compliance reporting, HRIS administration, employee onboarding and records management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries, ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data and support day-to-day HR functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and excellent communication skills for resolving customer service issues.

Nice To Haves

  • UKG Pro experience desired.
  • Associate degree, HR certificate or coursework from an accredited college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling EEO workforce demographic data, other compliance-related reporting requirements and other HR metrics.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end new hire process, including I-9 form completion, system set up, and onboarding logistics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic employee records.
  • Serve as a primary HRIS user, processing employee changes and employee data in accordance with established guidelines. Ensuring all employee forms are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for daily staff inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and programs. Handle questions and service issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Gather and verify administrative input (leaves of absence, salary/employee changes, separations) for payroll processing and assist in creating new job descriptions.
