About The Position

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fill the position of HR, Safety & Administrative Coordinator at Accurate Manufacturing 4.0 Inc. The HR, Safety & Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing human resources, health & safety, and administrative support to the Accurate team. This person will oversee day-to-day activities related to recruiting, employee development, training, workplace health & safety, and policy implementation and compliance. The Coordinator will also provide administrative assistance to the office team as directed.

Requirements

  • Some experience in Human Resources or Health & Safety role, or equivalent education in relevant field of study, an asset
  • Previous experience in manufacturing an asset
  • Possess knowledge of the ESA, OHSA and other relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and tact
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to successfully multi-task
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting (job posting, interviewing, offer development, onboarding, orientation etc.)
  • Administer corrective action and other disciplinary measures
  • Maintain accurate personnel, training and safety records
  • Oversee group benefits administration
  • Assist leadership with performance management, performance evaluations, and employee concerns
  • Implement measures for employee engagement
  • Lead Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings and activities
  • Coordinate workplace health & safety inspections and follow-up on corrective actions
  • Conduct incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and complete appropriate reports
  • Support WSIB claims management and return-to-work activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company requirements
  • Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, communication, and employee engagement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs and other relevant policy and process information on company database
