About The Position

Top Metal Solutions is a growing metal fabrication company specializing in racks, structural components, CNC cutting, welding, and coating solutions. With operations in both the U.S. and Mexico, we are committed to quality, teamwork, and continuous growth. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Assistant to support our Human Resources department with recruiting, employee administration, onboarding, and general HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, thrives on organization, and wants to grow their career in Human Resources. The selected candidate will play a key role in attracting talent, maintaining employee records, supporting day-to-day HR processes, and helping build a strong workforce across administrative and production teams.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, HR support, or administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience interviewing and evaluating candidates preferred.
  • Experience with job boards and recruiting platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Post job openings and actively source qualified candidates.
  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews.
  • Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews.
  • Support hiring for production, warehouse, welding, painting, office, and administrative positions.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment records.
  • Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
  • Support recruitment improvement initiatives and hiring strategies.
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain employee files and HR records (physical and digital).
  • Support document tracking, compliance files, and administrative deadlines.
  • Perform data entry, reporting, and HR system updates.
  • Assist with employee communications and internal HR processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and other business areas as needed.
