Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics is a Comprehensive Spine and Orthopaedics Care provider in GA with locations including Atlanta, Columbus, Gwinnett, Marietta, Tucker, Stockbridge, Roswell, and the Surgery Center of Roswell. The company is growing and seeking an enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join their Columbus team. The ideal candidate is willing to travel to the Macon office 1x per week, has experience, is bilingual in English/Spanish, has a strong desire to help others, and works well on a team.

Requirements

• Ability to travel to Macon once per week
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Understanding of health insurance
• Willingness to learn is a must

Nice To Haves

• Fluent in both English/Spanish, written and verbal
• C Arm experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and room patients
• Accurately take a patient history and document it in EMR
• Perform x-rays as directed by the provider (we’ll teach)
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Dispense medication as instructed by the provider
• Act as a liaison between providers and patients
