About The Position

We’re looking for a driven, people-focused HR Recruiter to join the Zulay Kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for finding great people, reaching out to candidates, conducting initial screening calls, and helping move qualified candidates through our hiring process. This is a fast-paced role for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and making things happen. You’ll work closely with our HR team to understand what we’re looking for and keep our hiring pipeline full.

Requirements

• 1+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, appointment setting, sales, or a similar people-focused role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable making calls and reaching out to people you’ve never spoken with
• Confident, energetic, and personable
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Able to manage multiple open positions at once
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment when evaluating candidates

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, JazzHR, Indeed, or similar platforms is a plus
• You’re a people person who loves the hunt.
• You don’t wait around for applicants to show up—you actively go find great candidates.
• You’re persistent without being pushy, organized without being boring, and you genuinely enjoy connecting people with opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and other recruiting channels
• Reach out to potential candidates and generate interest in open positions
• Conduct initial phone/video screening interviews
• Evaluate candidates based on experience, skills, culture fit, and role requirements
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain an organized candidate pipeline and follow up consistently
• Write and post engaging job descriptions
• Keep candidates informed throughout the recruiting process
• Help improve and streamline our recruiting process
• Build a strong talent pipeline for current and future positions
• Partner with HR and department leaders to understand hiring needs
