About The Position

Eaton’s GEIS division is currently seeking a HR Programs Manager. This role is onsite in Syracuse, NY or Moon Township, PA. Relocation is provided within the United States. Eaton's GEIS North America business represents a sales volume of $1.6B and approximately 2,500 employees. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. We are seeking a strategic and collaborative HR Programs Manager to lead initiatives in talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, and other HR programs for the GEIS North America group. The role will also serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on HR support to specific functional leaders and employees. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our workforce by aligning talent to future business needs, optimizing organizational structures, building leadership and skills capabilities, and driving HR programs to scale our business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in human resources (HR), talent management, organizational effectiveness, or leadership development.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of people leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or HR certification
  • Experience with organizational design principles and talent assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional HR projects as directed by the HRVP, ensuring clear deliverables, timely delivery, and measurable impact.
  • Facilitate organizational design assessments (“OADs”) in partnership with HR leaders to optimize organizational structures to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide the strategic vision and execution of talent reviews, succession planning, talent pipelines, retention mitigation plans and overall performance development processes.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics, share trends and insights with HR leaders that will be used to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Support preparation, roll-out, and analysis for talent development programs and employee survey processes (including new leader assimilations, leader onboarding, and programs such as LeaderX, FutureReady, Targeted Programs, Excellence in Culture etc.)
  • Support change management planning to enable sustainable organizational transformation.
  • Provide operational HR support for specific functional leaders, in addition to ER escalation support, conducting site visits and auditing sites work standards as required (aligned to internal processes and systems).
