We're looking for a dedicated HR/Payroll Coordinator who enjoys helping people, values accuracy, and takes pride in creating a positive employee experience. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of payroll and human resources experience.
Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems (Workday experience is highly preferred).
Strong understanding of California labor laws, payroll practices, and employment regulations.
Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and customer service skills.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare, skilled nursing, or post-acute experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Process payroll weekly and bi-weekly accurately and on schedule.
Maintain records for electronic timekeeping and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and required background checks.
Maintain files ensuring confidential personnel data complies with state and federal regulations.
Administer benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Track compliance for leaves of absence, workers' compensation claims, and employee documentation.
Serve as contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
Assist with reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions.
Foster culture to help create a positive, welcoming workplace for all employees.
