About The Position

The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for the precision and integrity of employee data within Dayforce. This role serves as the primary gatekeeper for the employee lifecycle, ensuring that every system entry—from hire to retire—is audited for accuracy, compliance with signed offer letters, and K-SOX internal controls.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations or Data Entry.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • High proficiency in Dayforce HCM is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an "audit-first" mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and HR Managers.
  • Ability to analyze data and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing new hire setups, documentation, and departure processes.
  • Maintaining employee records, data auditing, and generating reports within the Human Resources Information System.
  • Monitor and correct "Job Step" rate resets to prevent employee underpayment and retroactive payroll calculations and assisting with benefits enrollment.
  • Ensuring legal compliance, updating policies, and managing employment documentation.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, improving processes, and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Act as a centralized "Center of Excellence," relieving HR Managers of technical data entry tasks.
  • Addressing employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
