This role is onsite and focuses on providing strategic and hands-on HR support to a premier luxury community, with a particular emphasis on its food & beverage and hospitality teams. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, designing and delivering client-facing HR solutions to improve the workplace experience and drive client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end, optimizing HR processes, advising on employment law, supporting workforce planning, and aligning HR strategy with business objectives. The role requires a generalist background with strong client and project management skills, and experience in a luxury hospitality or similar environment is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Generalist across livingHR's focus areas (tech, innovation, people analytics, compensation, design, operations, internal P+C, marketing, growth), with strong data storytelling skills.
  • Client and project management — owns relationships, deadlines, and delivery end to end.
  • Facilitation — leads workshops and stakeholder sessions with confidence.
  • Innovation mindset — finds ways to scale work and improve processes.
  • 7–9 years in HR Manager or Generalist role.
  • Client-facing or in-house HR background within luxury hospitality, resort, or private membership communities strongly preferred.
  • HRIS/HR technology platform experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-touch, luxury-service environment, engaging with staff, members, and leadership.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and an effective communicator in a fast-paced, service-driven role.
  • Primarily onsite, with regular collaboration across F&B, hospitality, and community leadership teams; occasional physical activity (standing, walking, light lifting up to 10 lbs) supporting on-the-ground operations; reasonable accommodations available.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, SPHR/SHRM-SCP, or HR tech certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver client-facing HR solutions using a human-centered approach, improving the workplace experience.
  • Own delivery excellence, strategic alignment, and profitability across the engagement.
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention against KPIs (NPS, retention, referrals, account growth).
  • Partner with the Principal to build client relationships and deliver strategic insights (eNPS, turnover, time to fill), identifying growth opportunities.
  • Manage projects end to end — reporting, communication, billable tracking, and PM/CRM data — and contribute to QBRs and executive summaries.
  • Align HR strategy with business objectives and collaborate with project teams to livingHR's delivery standards.
  • Optimize HR processes, policies, and systems for efficiency and compliance.
  • Implement core HR practices: onboarding, employee relations, policy development.
  • Advise on federal, state, and local employment law compliance.
  • Partner with F&B and hospitality leadership on staffing models, seasonal hiring, and service-culture training.
  • Support recruitment and retention for culinary, front-of-house, and member-services teams.
  • Align HR practices with the high-touch service standards expected across the community's dining and hospitality operations.
  • Analyze org structure and capabilities against strategic goals.
  • Design workforce plans addressing seasonal demand, skills gaps, succession, and growth.
  • Facilitate workforce planning workshops with leadership.
