About The Position

Join Manna's growing team as our HR Manager – USA, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reporting directly to the Director of HR in Dublin, Ireland, you will be the first point of contact for all People-related matters across our US operations. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape the People function within one of the world's leading autonomous drone delivery companies. As Manna continues to expand across the United States, you will play a key role in supporting employees and managers, implementing People processes, ensuring compliance, driving recruitment, and helping create a positive and high-performing culture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys being hands-on, and wants to make a genuine impact as part of a fast-growing business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or People Operations role.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full US driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, or able to relocate quickly.

  • Experience working within a startup, scale-up, logistics, aviation, manufacturing, or technology environment.
  • Experience building or implementing HR processes in a growing business.
  • Strong employee relations and employment law experience.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day HR activities across US operations.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment legislation.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems.
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and employee data management.
  • Partner with external providers and advisors when required.
  • Lead recruitment activities across operational and professional roles.
  • Partner with managers to identify hiring needs and workforce plans.
  • Manage onboarding activities and ensure a positive employee experience from day one.
  • Build relationships with local recruitment channels, colleges, and community organisations.
  • Provide guidance and support on performance, conduct, attendance, grievance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Coach managers on People policies and best practices.
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Help create a positive and high-performing working environment.
  • Champion and embed Manna's culture and ways of working.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
  • Promote a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Work closely with operational leaders to support business objectives.
  • Partner with the Director of HR to implement scalable People processes.
  • Support organisational growth, change management, and expansion activities.
  • Provide HR reporting and recommendations where required.
