About The Position

Emerald Clinical Trials is a global, full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region, focused on advancing clinical research. They support biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic clients across all trial phases, specializing in renal, cardiometabolic, and oncology. The HR Manager will act as an HR solutions partner to leadership, serving as an employee champion to manage the full employee lifecycle and foster a thriving workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role, preferably in start-up or small-medium sized organizations.
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, mediation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll software, MS Office.
  • Foundational AI fluency.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR.
  • Experience in life sciences, biotech, or clinical research organizations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new hires to ensure smooth integration.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and guiding managers through disciplinary actions.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Managing payroll, benefits administration, and annual compensation reviews.
  • Administering performance review processes, supporting goal-setting, and assisting department leaders with succession planning and performance improvement plans.
  • Tracking HR metrics and utilizing HRIS software.
