The HR Manager oversees the human resources department, developing and implementing policies to support employee engagement, recruitment, and organizational goals. They manage HR operations, ensure compliance with labor laws, and foster a positive workplace culture while aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software, Microsoft Office, and payroll systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’d degree in Human Resources or MBA
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification

Responsibilities

  • Oversee talent acquisition, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Create and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Implement performance evaluation systems and support employee development plans.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of staff.
  • Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO), and company policies.
  • Administer compensation, benefits programs, and payroll processes in collaboration with finance team and external vendors.
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives, contributing to workforce planning and organizational growth.
  • Maintain accurate employee records using HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom).
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a supportive workplace.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
