The Human Resources intern will contribute to his team and department by applying his knowledge of several functional areas. If you are a professional able to work quite independently and have a thorough knowledge of the discipline and the role, we invite you to apply.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Relations or Human resources
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
  • English is an asset
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Support different groups (managers, supervisors, hourly and salaried employees, HR colleagues,etc)
  • Support managers, supervisors and hourly employees in the application of the collective agreement
  • Ensure the management of grievances, investigations, and disciplinary measures procedures
  • Ensure the implementation of HR processes
  • Participation in the elaboration, the establishment and the progress of management human resources tools
