About The Position

Glenmede is seeking an HR Intern for their 2027 program in Philadelphia. This 10-week internship, running from June to August 2027, offers personal and professional development, insight into future career opportunities, and exposure to various HR functions within a wealth management environment. The program includes networking events, a group project, volunteer opportunities, social outings, and interaction with professionals across the firm. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the Philadelphia office. The internship provides hands-on experience in talent management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and inclusion, HR operations, total rewards data analytics, and special projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and interested in building a foundation in Human Resources within a professional services setting.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and a rising senior, (graduating between May 2028 - December 2028).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with proactive resolutions and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and attention to detail skills.
  • Professional, collaborative, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, for the internship duration.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR activities across recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, HR operations, and administrative processes.
  • Assist with various short-term projects within the HR department.
  • Optimize current processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
