About The Position

At Dell Technologies, forward-thinking HR is powered by people analytics, AI-enabled talent strategies, and compelling workforce data storytelling. Our HR Interns are immersed in these critical areas, gaining hands-on experience at the center of strategic decision-making throughout the summer program. Through collaborative research, project execution, and exposure to key HR initiatives, interns play a meaningful role in shaping and delivering innovative people strategies, programs, and solutions that support team members across the organization. Join us as a Graduate Intern on our Human Resources team in Round Rock, Texas, United States where HR strategy meets data, technology, and real business impact. What You’ll Achieve: As a Human Resources Intern, you will contribute to high-impact, execution-based work that supports key HR initiatives across the function. You’ll build your network, explore how Human Resources supports business strategy through data, technology and people-centered solutions, and develop foundational skills in HR.

Requirements

  • Ongoing graduate student in MIS, Business Analytics, I/O Psychology, Human Resources, Data Science, Communication, or related area of study.
  • Interest in HR, people analytics, workforce technology, or the intersection of data and people – demonstrated through coursework, projects, clubs, research or internships.
  • Data literacy – comfort working with data, identifying trends, and using insights to inform recommendations. Excel proficiency is expected.
  • Strong drive for results, intellectual curiosity, and learning agility.
  • Effective collaborator with strong communication skills who can work across teams and functions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt, and solve problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to data analytics, visualization tools, or HR systems
  • Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) in coursework or projects – with an interest in applying them to real business challenges
  • Coursework or project experience in people analytics, organizational behavior, workforce planning, or research methods

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive key HR priorities related to your project(s), working both individually and collaboratively to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Apply data analysis and storytelling to surface workflow insights and inform HR decisions.
  • Participate in human-centered design thinking to improve employee experience
  • Explore and orchestrate AI tools (CoPilot, Claude) to HR workflows and think critically about where they help, where they fall short, and how to verify outputs ethically.
  • Build strategic partnerships across the business, applying change management and market awareness to influence and drive results.
  • Present recommendations, data-driven insights, and results to HR leaders, incorporating stakeholder feedback and business context.
  • Actively participate in learning and development sessions, mentorship, and professional networking throughout the summer.
