About The Position

Acrisure Mortgage is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our growing HR team. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while supporting recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, and day-to-day HR operations across multiple organizations. The Human Resources team strives to provide excellent customer service in every aspect of HR to the employees of the Acrisure Mortgage Family of Companies. Role Overview The Human Resources Generalist will work as a part of the Human Resources Department dedicated to supporting employees of RMC Home Mortgage or Fusion Home loans and Acrisure Mortgage, LLC. This role will be responsible for all HR functionality for employees of the assigned affiliate companies (escalating inquiries to HR senior staff/management as needed). This is a hybrid position based out of our Downtown Orlando, FL office.

  • Responsible for all HR functionality for employees of the assigned affiliate companies
  • Escalate inquiries to HR senior staff/management as needed
  • Onboard new hires into the HRIS system (and complete new hire checklist tasks)
  • Offboard separated employees in HRIS system (and complete separation checklist tasks)
  • Maintain accuracy of HRIS system as needed (role changes, title updates, reporting updates, etc)
  • Participate in ticketing rotation
  • Perform Audits as needed
  • Complete Background Checks for potential new hires
  • Draft offer letters for prospective candidates
  • Ensure candidates make it through pre-hire/hire process in a timely manner and all parties are informed as progression is made
  • Upload candidates into HRIS recruiting module and send appropriate communications
  • Update candidate status in HRIS accordingly throughout background/hiring process
  • Provide reporting to management on candidates in progress
  • Coordinate and execute new hire start dates (includes welcome email, calendar notifications to appropriate parties, etc)
  • Review employee time and attendance records to ensure all are accurate and completed prior to payroll processing
  • Manage company inboxes (HR and payroll)
  • Acts as point of contact for all HR needs for employees
  • Answer employee questions about HR policies and directs any escalated inquiries to senior-level HR staff or management
  • Maintain accurate employee information in HRIS system (including updating rates of pay or positions as they change)
  • Performs periodic audits of employee HR files and records to make sure all required documentation is present and up to date
  • Work with legal department to provide documentation/reporting for required audits
  • Establish and maintain relationships with entity management
  • Coach management on proper HR procedures as needed
  • Conduct new manager training on timecard policies and procedures
  • Processes all payroll for the entity (including biweekly, biweekly bonus and semi-monthly cycles)
  • Process any payroll corrections in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate Schedule A, bonus or commission agreements for sales staff
  • Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA
  • Assist with any employee inquiries regarding plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general benefits inquiries
  • Manage qualifying events/benefit changes for employees
  • Ensure all enrollments/benefits changes are made in a timely manner
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
  • Provide reporting to other departments as needed
  • Manage One Pass Select Gym Memberships and reimbursement
  • Assist with projects and other duties as requested or assigned
