HR Generalist I
About The Position
KVC Health Systems is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to work in Olathe, Kansas. This role manages high-volume onboarding and compliance tasks and guides more than 200 new hires annually, helping ensure they feel supported, informed, and compliant from day one. The position works independently and requires real-time judgment in a fast-paced environment. The HR Generalist maintains engagement with candidates from offer acceptance through their first days, manages onboarding documentation and employee records, and coordinates updates among new hires, hiring managers, and HR Business Unit leaders. The role also supports organizational readiness, compliance activities, reporting, employment verifications, badge production, and office supply management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED and human resources experience.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities
- Maintain positive engagement with candidates from offer acceptance through their first days.
- Collect and verify confidential new-hire information, including background checks, out-of-state registry checks, and medical documentation.
- Use ADP to process onboarding, collect I-9 documents, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Serve as a liaison among new hires, hiring managers, and HR Business Unit leaders, providing real-time hiring progress updates.
- Facilitate audits, interact with state licensing agencies, and maintain compliance for existing staff.
- Prepare monthly Department of Labor reports and conduct annual motor vehicle record checks.
- Support the HR team with employment verifications, badge production, and office supply management.
