About The Position

Hermitage Hall (a UHS company) is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years. Position Summary: The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time position and is responsible for full cycle recruiting (including sourcing candidates through various channels), employee engagement, coordinating and facilitating new hire orientation, employment onboarding, records management and data integrity, tracking employee in-services, and other duties as assigned. Additionally, the HR Generalist will be responsible for the HealthStream training system (assigning annual training modules to existing & new hire employees). Responsibilities include working in a team environment, providing administrative support to the Executive committees and administrative meetings, preparing and maintaining employee files, managing clearances/licensure renewal and employee trainings and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Three to five years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Full cycle recruiter experience
  • On-boarding new employees preferred
  • Healthcare experience is preferred
  • Experience mediating employee concerns and exercising sound professional judgment to make recommendations in the best interest of the facility and its employees required
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations that govern healthcare preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
  • Superb problem solving and multi tasking skills with effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Skill set to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
