This role is responsible for a variety of HR functions including employee benefits administration, HR operations, payroll processing, and recruitment support. The HR Generalist will coordinate employee benefit programs, consult with employees and vendors on eligibility, and assist with enrollment processes. They will also review and recommend improvements to current benefit programs, maintain electronic connections with vendors, and administer COBRA and ACA compliance. In HR Operations, the role involves primary processing of bi-weekly payroll, maintaining employee records, supporting the annual review process, and conducting new hire orientations. The position also handles personnel file management, assists with market surveys and increases, unemployment claims, and employee engagement surveys. Additionally, the HR Generalist will coordinate employee data changes, compile HR reports, assist with HR performance improvement projects, and support training and development requests. The role also includes cross-training to back up the Recruiting & Retention Coordinator.
