The HR Generalist will administer and ensure compliance with FMLA, EEOC, ADA, and other applicable laws. This role involves assisting with maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS, providing employee counseling, and handling routine HR inquiries. The HR Generalist will serve as the primary point of contact for HR policy and process guidance, escalating to COEs when appropriate. Responsibilities also include conducting investigations, participating in the hiring process, conducting HR transactions such as orientation, leaves of absence, and exit meetings, and supporting employee relations programs. Additionally, this role will conduct the annual wage and benefit survey, analyze results, and submit recommendations, collect and analyze HR data for scorecards and reports, and assist with developing and delivering training programs. The HR Generalist will also identify opportunities to increase efficiency in HR service delivery, develop and maintain clear documentation for procedures, and support departmental HR projects. General responsibilities include maintaining 5S standards, supporting Affirmative Action requirements, developing and implementing special projects, and holding the authority to stop the production line if a safety or quality issue arises. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
