About The Position

KVC Missouri is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle within their assigned region. This role is critical in creating a positive onboarding experience, maintaining compliance standards, supporting employee engagement efforts, and partnering with leadership to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about supporting employees from recruitment through onboarding and beyond.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
  • Entry-level experience in Human Resources or professional administration

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Guide candidates through the onboarding process with consistent communication and support
  • Conduct background checks and manage employment compliance documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS and ADP systems
  • Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation activities
  • Ensure I-9 completion and regulatory compliance for all new hires
  • Track onboarding progress and communicate updates to hiring managers and leadership
  • Assist with internal and external audit preparation and documentation
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and campus events
  • Provide guidance regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on special projects
  • Deliver trainings and organizational updates to staff
  • Travel as needed to support regional organizational needs
