About The Position

The HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting the full spectrum of human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive work environment. This position involves managing recruitment, safety department, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.

Requirements

Associates degree and/or 3 year's experience Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong understanding of OSHA requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Administer day-to-day HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation.
Manage employee records and maintain HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Perform payroll processing and benefits administration.
Be the Safety Champion for the company and help lead safety initiatives.
Play a key role in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Facilitate employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring organizational adherence.
Coordinate performance management processes including evaluations and training initiatives.
Support organizational development and employee engagement programs.
Organize company events.
Visit the production floor daily and support off-shift staff as needed.
Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and workforce planning.
