About The Position

Epic Piping / Epic Distribution is hiring an experienced HR Generalist to support both organizations at two Houston-area sites approximately 27 miles apart, with a combined headcount of about 195 employees. This fully onsite, hands-on role serves as the primary site-level HR contact for employees, supervisors, and operational leaders. It provides responsive support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits, training compliance, policy administration, HR records, and daily HR needs. Working with site and operational leadership, Talent Acquisition, Safety, HR Business Partner(s), and the HR Director, the HR Generalist builds effective working relationships, helps address workplace concerns, reinforces company policies, and ensures HR processes are completed accurately and on time. The role maintains a visible presence across assigned locations, departments, and shifts, and escalates sensitive or complex matters through established channels. The position also supports benefits and leave administration, random drug-testing logistics, HR records, payroll and timekeeping issues, and hiring activities when requested. Payroll processing is performed only when specifically assigned as trained backup coverage or during an absence; ongoing recruitment and pipeline building remain owned by Talent Acquisition.
