About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist-Talent Acquisition serves as a key member of the HR team with responsibility for leading recruiting efforts while also supporting a broad range of HR activities. This role owns the full-cycle recruiting process and partners with leaders to attract and hire talent aligned with Lone Star Communications culture and business needs. This position will also support other functional areas of HR as well.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ proven work experience of full-cycle recruiting
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
• Minimum 5 years progressive Human Resources experience
• Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ related experience, or on the job training may substitute as equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, HRIS systems, and ATS platforms
• Understand and adhere to company policies and applicable law

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR operations.
• Experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience in preparing HR metrics, reports, and workforce analytics.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Create and maintain job postings across recruiting platforms and social media channels.
• Source active and passive candidates through networking, referrals, job boards, and community outreach.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
• Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) activities and candidate pipelines.
• Facilitate candidate communications throughout the recruiting process.
• Coordinate employment offers, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future staffing needs.
• Attend job fairs, industry events, and recruiting initiatives.
• Promote Lone Star's employer brand and employee-owner culture.
• Follow all company processes and procedures in accordance with the LSC Quality Management system to ensure that a quality product is maintained and delivered within the predetermined time and cost.
• Attending required internal company meetings such as safety, departmental, scheduled daily and weekly meetings.
• All employees are required to actively participate in the LSC Safety Program.
• Be the forerunner in assuring customer satisfaction by meeting customer’s expectations while containing scope and cost creep.
• Assist employees with benefit-related questions and enrollment activities.
• Support annual Open Enrollment communications and administration.
• Coordinate benefit changes and employee documentation.
• Assist with compensation surveys, benchmarking projects, and reporting activities.
• Support payroll-related employee updates as needed.
• Maintain benefits and compensation records.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for routine employee-owner HR inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with HR audits and regulatory reporting activities.
• Support ongoing HR process improvement initiatives.
