The Human Resources Department of the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), the Massachusetts public defender agency, is seeking to fill an HR Generalist position to help support the Recruiting & Hiring Team. This position will be based in Boston but will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of two days in office per week. CPCS is dedicated to protecting the fundamental constitutional and human rights of their assigned clients through zealous advocacy, community-oriented defense, and excellent legal representation. CPCS provides representation in a wide range of legal cases for clients who are diverse across every context imaginable. The HR Generalist is a key position in the Human Resources Department, supporting the overall employee experience at CPCS. This role will specifically support recruitment and hiring, ensuring hiring practices are followed and candidates have a positive experience. HR Generalists are cross-trained to provide backup in all HR areas and ensure smooth onboarding for new employees. The HR Generalist will report to the Recruiting & Hiring Manager.
