The Human Resources Department of the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), the Massachusetts public defender agency, is seeking to fill an HR Generalist position to help support the Recruiting & Hiring Team. This position will be based in Boston but will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of two days in office per week. We are seeking applicants who can apply a wide range of HR skills and knowledge to support the overall employee experience at CPCS. The HR Generalist will support the recruitment and hiring of new employees by working closely with Hiring Managers ensure that hiring practices and procedures are followed as well as working closely with candidates to ensure they receive a positive and respectful application and hiring process. All HR Generalists are cross-trained and expected to act as back-ups to other HR team members to ensure coverage in all areas and to ensure new employees are smoothly integrated into CPCS through effective onboarding. The HR Generalist will report to the Recruiting & Hiring Manager. This position will be located in Boston but eligible for a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of two days in office per week.
