About The Position

The HR Generalist II serves as a key link between HR Service Delivery, associates, people leaders, and the broader Human Resources organization. This role supports complex, non-standard, and higher-risk Human Resources situations that require application of policy, process expertise, and problem resolution skills. The HR Generalist II operates within a standardized Human Resources delivery model and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance service quality, consistency, and employee experience across the Life Sciences Platform. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, N.A. HR Generalist and is part of the Life Sciences Human Resources organization and will be fully remote (USA only).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources operations, shared services, employee relations support, or a Human Resources generalist or specialty discipline.
  • Experience independently managing complex Human Resources cases within established policies and procedures.
  • Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), case management systems, and related business applications.
  • Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience supporting multiple sites, business units, or operating companies.
  • Experience providing compensation or hiring support during recruitment processes.
  • Experience working within a shared services or case management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex Human Resources cases and provide subject matter expertise on employee lifecycle transactions, policy interpretation, time and attendance, benefits, and other Human Resources inquiries.
  • Partner with People Partners, Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Centers of Excellence to ensure effective case escalation, issue resolution, and end-to-end service delivery.
  • Support people leaders on performance management administration, documentation requirements, and Human Resources processes, including participation in talent acquisition activities as assigned.
  • Document case activities and maintain accurate records in Human Resources systems to support compliance, auditability, reporting, and knowledge management.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, analyze recurring issues, and contribute to standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives across Human Resources Service Delivery.
